Trustys is family owned and operated by Tyson and Elissa. Tyson graduated from Dover Bay Secondary School, where his career path began with a hands-on role at Harbourview Volkswagen in Nanaimo, BC. Driven by a strong work ethic and a keen interest in the automotive field, this initial position paved the way for an apprenticeship opportunity. Through dedication and perseverance, Tyson successfully completed his Red Seal Automotive Certification. He remained a committed member of the Harbourview Volkswagen team for nine years, honing his skills and contributing to the dealership's success. 

Seeking new challenges and experiences, Tyson decided to explore different industries. Today, he is focused on his growing family, partnering with fiancée Elissa in operating Trustys Mobile Automotive. She complements his technical skills with a strong business background, with diplomas from BCIT in Entrepreneurship, Marketing Communications, Public Relations, and Event Planning. Throughout her career Elissa has gained extensive experience in operations management, leadership, and sales working with industry leaders in hospitality and in tech.
